All Hallows Eve

Halloween celebrated on October 31 is the way it roots in history and is still celebrated in many countries. Even though I live in Australia and we're not really here to celebrate, I've always been interested in history.

Halloween has been celebrated both Christians and pagans, even though they have different names for this special day. Celtic history of magic has always been surrounded and the feast of Samhain (Halloween) is no different. Samhain wasto have a party at the end of harvest time and was used in winter stock of the food supply before. Celts believed that this day would also, when the boundaries between the dead and the survivors would be broken and the dead walk the earth, causing trouble. They had many ways to quench the fire deaths in costumes and burn the bones of their cattle in the final with huge.

In European history, the pagans celebrated All HallowsEve and have been responsible for what we see now as the Jack O Lantern. Jack does not start as a carved pumpkin, but as a main-lanterns from turnips or swedes as he began. As the pumpkins were larger and more readily available in modern, so we headed to the pumpkin. The head has always been considered the strongest of the mind to be and was intended to deter the bad guys in this very spiritual day.

The name Jack also has a history that goes something like this:

Jack, orstingy as it was called Jack, who lived in the old folklore. He was an Irishman, a tough talking, hard drinking and greedy businessman, who was all he could get. He said that he tricked the devil in one day, climb a tree and while he was there he pulled out a cross and the devil was not to come down. In revenge, the devil cursed him, said Jack has always been on the earth in night excursion. All he had was a candle in a carved turnip.

In some Christian circles is HalloweenAll Saints Day and time of the Reformation. Reformation Day is actually a day of prayer and remembrance and unity for the people. Of course, not all Christians celebrate this day with their creations to the magic and the occult.

Most of us, even those of us who do not celebrate Halloween with trick or treat, where children dress up in clothes Ghoulie and knock on doors for treats or money belongs. It is believed that if they were not the norm, it would be absurd to be treated presentedthe host.

Halloween is huge for business with the costumes, books, toys, games and much more available to people who celebrate love. There is a lot to look forward to this day not only as a day for things magical and disturbing. It is a creative thought for the day to ask children what it will take to get his family to find out one day together, where neighbors are neighbors, where kids eat too many sweets to satisfy .... If you are a Christian, then it is a time of prayer andmeet with the family.

Whatever your beliefs, I hope you have a great day and night.
